The disruptive business model aims to bridge the funding gap in today&rsquo;s business landscape by &ldquo;democratising investment&rdquo; and allowing businesses to access finance while bypassing traditional banking institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), to date, the site has successfully raised &pound;16m to fund over 80 businesses.
