\"GPS<\/a>The GPS Locums story:<\/h4>\n

Despite their relative youth, the three co-founders of GPS Locums possess 13 years of recruitment experience between them. Given one of the three – Ian Oxley – was actually a City trader the figure carries more weight.<\/p>\n

And it explains why in just two years the company has become a key supplier of locum doctors to the NHS and the private sector already. Its stated aim, for which it says it is on course, is to become one of the top five suppliers to the NHS and private sector within the next three years.   <\/p>\n

Tier 1 contracts have been won and renewed and turnover and profits show a young company in rude health.<\/p>\n

Each year, there are in excess of a fairly staggering 800,000 hours available to locums of all specialities, such as A&E, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgery, Medicine, Anaesthetics and Psychiatry, creating plenty of opportunity for locum providers.<\/p>\n
