But the appeal of the online platform for children to safely share their writing with a worldwide audience for free – and get feedback and encouragement – undoubtedly goes far deeper.<\/p>\n

Started by three passionate teachers, the platform has played host to 15,000 child authors and has attracted more than three million views across over 190 countries.<\/p>\n
Earlier this year the company raised £170,000 via funding site Crowdcube earlier this year, won a place on the British Library’s EU-funded Innovating for Growth Programme, and was shortlisted by the association for ICT in education in the NAACE Global Impact Award.<\/p>\n
