[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Wheyhey, the healthy ice cream company founded by Young Guns Greg Duggan and Damien Kennedy<\/a>, has announced its availability on Tesco.com for London customers before being rolled out in the selected Tesco stores.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2013, Wheyhey produces a range of protein-based, sugar-free ice cream including banoffee, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla. The 150 gram pots are naturally sweetened by xylitol and contain only four grams of at.<\/p>\n

The ice cream brand has received backing from a number of celebrities including supermodel David Gandy, fashion designer Chloe Green, and Vamps singer James McVey.<\/p>\n

The global market for protein products<\/a> is expected to grow to £8bn by 2017, and in the UK alone the sports food and drink industry is already worth over £301m.<\/p>\n

Damien Kennedy, co-founder of Wheyhey, commented: “Tesco are forward thinking partners who are at the forefront of offering UK consumers great tasting, truly healthy and nutritious food, the demand for which is experiencing explosive growth.”<\/p>\n

Adom Dennis, buying manager for frozen foods at Tesco, added:<\/p>\n
