Hotcha, the Chinese takeaway brand co-founded by Growing Business Young Gun James Liang, has continued its UK expansion drive with its 12th store opening; Exeter.<\/p>\n

First launched in Bristol in 2011 by Liang and co-founder Andy Chan, Hotcha serves freshly made Chinese dishes for collection or delivery and says it is “transforming the way Chinese fast food is prepared and delivered.”<\/p>\n

All of its core ingredients including meat, fish, marinades and sauces are prepared by the chain’s central production facility before being sent to stores where they are used to prepare dishes in line with Hotcha’s house recipes.<\/p>\n

The new Exeter store, which has already recruited 12 staff, adds to the chain’s existing network with other stores based in Liverpool, Stroud, Bath and Swindon.<\/p>\n

Liang, who is competing against the likes of fellow Young Gun-founded company Zing Zing<\/a>, commented:<\/p>\n

“Our ambition is to become the first national Chinese takeaway chain in the UK and we feel opening our 12th store here in Exeter is a natural step as we continue our rapid growth from our beginnings in Bristol five years ago.<\/p>\n

“Following our recent £7.5m funding round, we are well positioned to deliver our pipeline of a further 20 stores openings across the UK in 2017.”<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
