Having formerly run investment management company IKEN Capital – before it was bought out in 2014 – James Brueton decided to take a break from his subsequent position as a portfolio manager at Millennium Partners to move into property development.<\/p>\n

While Brueton was interested in sustainable materials, he struggled to find suppliers that provided what you’d think would be the cornerstone of any successful business: good customer service.<\/p>\n

With business partners Neil Waller and James Street (the Young Guns behind Mydestination.com<\/a>), he founded EnviroBuild. Seeking to disrupt the construction industry, EnviroBuild combines sustainable products and environmentally-friendly, technology-led construction solutions.<\/p>\n

The majority of its materials, as well as the packaging, come from recycled sources that can be recycled again and don’t “rot, split, warp, splinter or ever need treating”. This includes composite decking, composite cladding, composite fencing, plastic lumber, supports.<\/p>\n

EnviroBuild has already established itself as a major player in the sector and formed partnerships with a number of big names including Travis Perkins, Everton Football Club, the Groucho Club, Eight Malmaison Hotels, EuroTunnel, Slug and Lettuce and Porsche to name a few.<\/p>\n

On top of this, the company has made a commitment to “improve the world we live in” since inception by donating 10% of its profits to supporting sustainable causes including the Rainforest Trust UK, which protects endangered rainforests and species by purchasing large areas of land and working with local communities to protect it.<\/p>\n
