Started in 2013 as a way to enable consumers to discover burgeoning fashion brands and designers, two-time Startups 100-featured<\/a> Grabble has grown to become one of the UK’s fastest growing fashion apps. It has topped the App Store’s shopping category with over 600,000 users and has an estimated 3,000 new users a day signing up.<\/p>\n

Best friends since they were seven years-old, founders Dan Murray and Joel Freeman have recently built on the success of Grabble to create Mobula and seem to have the mobile space sewn up. As well as being development partners with Facebook and Instagram, they work with a host of top brands and retailers including Harvey Nichols, M&S, Ted Baker and Anthropologie.<\/p>\n

Mobula, which launched in 2016, is a ‘native commerce’ product leveraging the technology that sits behind Grabble to help brands exploit the commercial opportunities surrounding the consumer shift from web to mobile.<\/p>\n

The platform converts a brand’s e-commerce content into a customisable mobile app and helps to increase conversions within popular applications such as Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. Its dashboard provides drag and drop editing, publishing and distribution tools, as well as analytics to measure the performance of an app and inform decision making.<\/p>\n

The platform also allows the company to publish its own apps rapidly in new verticals: a recent success, Popcorn – which was made in a day and enables users to discover and buy films – went viral with 250,000 downloads within two weeks and hit number one in seven countries.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
